The ogre seer is a horrific creature, thought to have first been created as the offspring of an ogre mage with an ordinary ogre, but now known to appear from time to time among ogre tribes. Seemingly always female, the ogre seer appears to be a tall, gaunt ogre with pale, sickly skin and stringy white hair. Some ogre seers have milky white eyes with no pupils, but none are known to be blind. They stand 9-10 feet tall and weigh 280-330 pounds, slightly less than a normal ogre.
In Raskia, ogre seers are normally viewed with suspicion and fear. They are known to live for centuries and often rumored to guard ancient secrets or hidden lore. One such example is the ancient seer Strega.
Cunning and evil, ogre seers are often leaders of ogre clans. Their divinitory powers and keen insight gives them an advantage over their lesser cousins. Ogre seers speak Common and Giant.
Ogre seers prefer to avoid battle whenever possible, usually using their wits and spell-like abilities to confuse or disable foes while they escape.
Spell-like Abilities (Sp): At will - darkness, detect thoughts, detect magic. 3/day - clairvoyance/clairaudience, blindness/deafness, nondetection. 1/day -- confusion. These abilities are as the spells cast by a 10th level sorceror (save DC 13 + spell level).
Regeneration (Ex): Ogre seers take normal damage from fire and acid, and are unable to attach or regrow lost body parts.
An ogre seer's favored class is Shaman (from the Oriental Adventures book), usually with the domains of Divination and Trickery.
