In the town of Sabriel, a group of enthusiastic young adventure-seekers are
drawn together in a quest for ancient dwarven treasures. Along the way, the
Company of the White Boar is born!
Bruk
Dwarf Fighter/Sorceror
Played by Gary
Deceased
A mysterious Ganskraad, Bruk was handy with a warhammer as well.
Unfortunately, he bravely met his fate at the hands of orcish warriors in
the gatehouse of Stone Tooth.
Caetlyn
Geirlish Sorceress
Played by Gary Allen
Deceased
Caetlyn was sent on a diplomatic mission to Sabriel on behalf of her family
before she was caught up in the events of the Company of the White Boar.
Caetlyn is a very beautiful and regal Geirlish Sorcerer. She has goals that
far outreach her noble backgrounds. Recently she has discovered the power of
"illegal" Magic and is having a hard time dealing with the power.
Caetlyn is torn between her royal background and going "rogue". Her
conscious tells her to give up the path she is trying to follow but she may
have gone to far to go back now. The rogue path calls...
Epilogue: Caetlyn was captured and tried for her crimes, which included
using forbidden magic, possessing illegal magic items, and using magic to
kill or injure another human being. She was convicted and then executed by
being hanged from the neck until dead.
Endrin
Visany Monk
Played by Paul Steele
Editor's note: I have included below a small exerpt from Endrin's
private diaries, describing his first adventure with the Company of the
White Boar.
Whoa. This has been totally wild ride these last few weeks. There I was, just hangin' out in the
Trollwood, mindin' my own business, now I'm like an adventurer, or something. I am glad I decided to
go check out the scene at Sabriel. Not only was I able to bum a few brewskies, I met up with some
cool folk: Nadja, the Babe, Olwyn the Wordy, Bruk the Deceased, and Thurgood the Pincushion.
We all decided to take up this dude's offer to go find some dead dwarf stuff. I thought, "No sweat,
man." but it's been pretty tough so far. I've like almost died a few times, especially that one
time, I was like climbing down this rope, trying to carry Bruks armor, and "Whoop!" down I fell. On
the way down, I was trying to remember what my teacher showed me, how I could channel the energy of
the fall and use it to my advantage. But I was too busy screaming to remember that lesson. Besides,
I think there is more energy in the sudden stop at the bottom, than in the fall itself.
Martel
Russk Fighter/Rogue
Played by Gary Allen
Nadja
Visany Rogue
Played by Valkyrie J. Liles
Inactive
Nadja is currently off pursuing her own adventures!
Olwyn
Halfling Bard
Played by Chris Dennett
Inactive
Olwyn has rejoined the group and is once again providing them with plenty of
entertaining music and song. However, once reaching the Underworld city of
Al-Shalil, Olwyn decided to retire and make a name for himself by sharing
tales of the Company of the White Boar.
Otho
Gnome Druid
Played by Dave Schaefer
Stricklan the Mystic Knight
Russk Paladin/Sorceror
Played by Dave Schaefer
Inactive
Stricklan was burned. When not in armor, he wears a mask, hood and gloves.
In armor his wounds don't show, and he assumes the stature and bearing of a
knight. Over his breastplate he wears a tabard with a sun and moon motif.
His shield is very shiny, but as yet undecorated.
He rides a huge palomino charger, and a snowy owl can usually be seen
lingering nearby.
Stricklan is a man of high principles and few words. Although he is working
to add some polish to his image, he is still fundamentally a man of action.
He prefers to lead by example than to preach. While he respects authority,
he is distrustful of governments. His personal code of justice, courage,
and mercy does not always resonate in the laws of the land.
Epilogue: Stricklan was captured and convicted of using arcane magic
without the proper Argent Tower training. The judges were lenient, however,
and he has been sent off to Cardosa to attend school there for a minimum of
18 months.
Telon
Visany Rogue/Cleric of Yvyx
Played by Damon
Inactive
Telon decided to return to his native Visany lands.
Thurgud
Kvell Barbarian
Played by Steve Mitzel
In Thurgud's own words:
It has been several months since I left my home in the North. At some point
I will tell the entire tale, but for now it will suffice to say that I was
not sorry to leave my Uncle. I will not miss his sorry soul, and if he and I
cross paths again, I guarantee he will not live to see another daybreak. I
left in the deep of the night, knowing my Uncle would be well under the
influence of the spirits and would not hear a grizzly bear bark in his face,
let alone the small amount of noise I would make upon my departure. I headed
east for several days before I began looking for ways to make a meager
living. I did odd jobs here and there, mostly manual labor for other Kvell
tribesmen. I strong back and sealed lips are always welcome in the
Northland. Most of my brethren were warring on the Southland; so many tribes
no longer had the stout huntsman or the tradesman that they normally had to
take care of things. So it was not difficult to find work in trade for food,
armor, weapons and some other meager equipment. I have no desire to follow
my kinsman South into the Geirlish lands; I do not desire nor lust after the
lands and riches they seek. I will make my way South, but I will follow a
different path.
